Were Google's augmented reality specs inspired by ISM

OVER the last week there has been much chatter about Google’s augmented reality glasses. If you haven’t heard about them, check out the story here on the BBC site.

However, do you remember where you first came across the idea? We reckon that it’s likely you heard it here first as the idea was proposed at ISM over two years ago – as an April Fool’s Day story!

So, is Google now taking its inspiration from the more “out there” ideas to emerge from the Brandspankin’ office?  If so, watch out for them rebranding as “Red Trousers” and launching a clockwork bus. You heard it here first!
