Dex launches all new DexKnows.com
DEX, THE print and interactive marketing division of R.H. Donnelley, yesterday announced the introduction of the new DexKnows.com, its online local search solution.
DexKnows.com is a completely rebuilt local search solution that is aimed at providing a more intuitive search. Users can now easily search by precise locations, including landmarks or neighbourhoods, specific problems or needs or service areas.
Brian Barnum, president, R.H. Donnelley Interactive, commented: “The new DexKnows.com is completely unique and far more user-friendly. It was built from the ground up with the consumer in mind.”
The new site enables what the company describe as "Hyperlocal" search – that is, search by descriptive phrase and delivers more targeted results
The site also offers a number of new features aimed at making it more intuitive and less like an online Yellow Pages.
